এবার দুটো ষাঁড় নিয়ে আসা হোক্| বাল মূর্ত্তির ভাববাদীরা তার একটি কেটে টুকরো টুকরো করে কাঠের ওপর রাখুন| আমি অন্যটাকে কেটে টুকরো করে কেটে কাঠের ওপর রাখছি| আমরা কেউই নিজে থেকে কাঠে আগুন ধরাবো না| আমি আমার প্রভুর কাছে প্রার্থনা করছি| বাল মূর্ত্তির অনুগামী ভাববাদীরাও তাঁদের দেবতার কাছে প্রার্থনা করুন| যার প্রার্থনায সাড়া দিয়ে কাঠে আগুন জ্বলে উঠবে, তার দেবতাই আসল প্রমাণিত হবেন| সমস্ত লোক এই পরিকল্পনায সায় দিল|

Now bring two bulls. The prophets of Baal may choose whichever one they wish and cut it into pieces and lay it on the wood of their altar, but without setting fire to it. I will prepare the other bull and lay it on the wood on the altar, but not set fire to it.
